This Electropolished finish involves the stainless steel fitting being placed in a bath of specialized chemicals with a high-intensity electrical current running through it. This process peels back the outer layer of stainless steel to increase the proportion of chromium on the surface. This type of process results in a smoother, shinier, and brighter surface finish, as well as enchanting the corrosion resistance of the stainless steel.

304 Grade Stainless Steel: This is the most commonly produced grade of stainless steel. It is a general-purpose stainless steel and offers good corrosion resistance.

316 Grade Stainless Steel: Also known as "Marine Grade" as it contains Molybdenum to resist the corrosive effects of NaCI or salt in seawater. 316 Stainless Steel offers better corrosion than 304 Stainless Steel for those projects in coastal locations. Although it is not completely rust-proof the alloy is more corrosion-resistant than other common stainless steels.

Almost all of our listed fittings are manufactured from 316 Grade Stainless steel.
