 The preferred grades of stainless steel for industrial use are titled 304 and 316 due to their excellent corrosion resistance, suitable finish and versitility.

• 304 Grade Stainless Steel: Is the most commonly produced grade of stainless steel. It is a general purpose stainless steel and offers good corrosion resistance.

• 316 Grade Stainless Steel: Also known as "Marine Grade"  as it contains Molybdenum to resist the corrosive affects of NaCI or salt in sea water. 316 Stainless Steel offers better corrosion than 304 Stainless Steel for those projects in coastal locations. Although it is not completly rust proof the alloy is more corrosion resistent than other common stainless steels.      

• Almost all of our listed fittings are manufactured from 316 Grade Stainless steel.
